Prior to TrinDocs, Capital Bank's processes involved what they describe as "a lot of busy work" to get invoices approved. There was manual paper pushing, manual authorizations, manual emails back and forth, and the like. The Accounts Payable team would also manually prep invoices on Mondays, type them on Tuesdays, and then finalize them each Wednesday to get payments made. So, there was a lot of time devoted to manual data entry. Plus, because of their paper invoices and manual approval processes, the leadership team had to look at every single paper invoice and spend hours a month reviewing and approving them.
